Local Efforts to Combat Poaching and Protect Endangered Animals
Poaching and illegal trade are the biggest threats to animals. Elephant and Rhinoceros’ tusks are used as accessories, as well as for medical purposes since they are believed to cure different types of diseases and relieve pain. Wildhood Foundation works to protect some of the most endangered species by supporting local efforts against poaching and illegal trade.
