Creative Climate Leadership
Creativity and cultural expression are innate to human identity and the creative industries, arts, and culture are a vital resource in the climate challenge – as taste-makers, life-style shapers, magnets for group identity, and as vehicles for profound personal expression the creative community has an extraordinary role to play. Artists and cultural leaders can ignite, inspire and prompt political, social, and practical action but have not, to date, been a significant part of the change movements on climate.
In this project, Julie’s Bicycle wants to support individual and collective climate action in Sweden and Scandinavia, engaging different elements of the creative business ecology – artists, cultural organisations, policymakers and – through setting up events and projects – audiences.
The project is supported by 2 410 000 SEK
