Sustainable and Circular Consumption
The level of consumption in Sweden is at a position that if everyone consumed as Swedes, it would require more than four globes to handle overconsumption. This unsustainable way of consumption leads to loss of biodiversity and climate change. To achieve the SDGs and the Paris Agreement’s target of a maximum of 1.5 degrees of global warming, changes in consumption patterns are required and consumers need to make more sustainable choices.
In this project, The Swedish Association for Responsible Consumption, seeks to contribute to behavioral change in consumers by raising awareness on circular consumption, as well as giving them the required guidelines, to ease the transition.
The project is supported with 2 500 000 SEK
