Youth empowerment through sustainable music festivals
Many young people today feel worried about their own future as well as the future of the planet. This concern can easily lead to passivity and a sense of hopelessness. Research shows that those who make active climate-related lifestyle changes or engage in social or environmental issues feel better and have greater hope for the future. Live Green promotes a shift towards socially and ecologically sustainable festivals, where young people are inspired to take an active role in social development and care for the environment and climate.
Live Green’s method is about creating festivals where social and ecological sustainability is ingrained throughout the entire event: using recycling and innovative solutions that have a less harmful effect on the climate, actively promoting safe environments, and creating forums where new sustainable ideas can be developed.
